Right now, he is playing like an all star and has already equalled his HR total from last year. Historically he has been around a .285 avg hitter so maybe he is coming into his own. If he keeps it up, come June 1st, I would not hesitate to vote for him at MLB for the All Star game!

It's difficult, however, for most players from the Blue Jays to be elected to the ASG. But he'll certainly get there, one way or another.

After all, it will seem rather strange when he wins that Gold Glove and didn't get to the ASG.

On the ballot you only get to vote for one second baseman right now my vote would obviously be going to Ian Kinsler. Hill may get in as a managerial choice. The odds that a small market player who is unknown by the casual baseball fan are not good. Though if i could vote for two 2b i would vote him in as my other pick for second baseman.

it would be close between him and kinsler, but it looks like they will be the all-stars as of right now, although it's a while before the teams are announced...they're both kinda lucky that there are no big name second basemen in the al, or really in the big leagues for that matter
