I want to become a professional Baseball player Im a die hard fan and I was just wondering if you need to have college experience to play in a lower league that pays?

Please all the help will be good cause if not ill attempt to tryout and prepare myself by hitting the batting cage 3 times a week and running sprints so ill be ready for the Spring

No, a lot of them will have tryouts. I know that's how the frontier league works. They have tryouts every year and if you make it you're on the team. Everyone has to try out, even if you were on the team the year before.

Some teams hold trly out at various locations for players. A few years ago, the Atlanta Braves held a tryout in Syracuse New York.

You could probably find out where teams hold tryouts on their websites.

It wouldn't hurt to try that.

Your best bet is probobly in Independent teams. They basically make a living pickin up non-prospects and tehn selling their contracts to bigger organizations

No you don't need college experience (even though it would help) but you need to be really good. Can you play defense well? Are you a good batter? Can you catch just about any balls? MLB is a LOT harder then it looks. Same with what you want to do.
