| Where has the White Sox offense gone? |
|
John Danks is now 0-4 due to the fact his team has given him 4 runs of support this entire season. We are now dead last in just about every offensive category including batting average. Where has our offense gone and when is it going to come back? Hopefully we don't have to wait until Thome comes back from the DL. Oh You. After your last response you made me a little angry, but now I just feel sorry for you. I even laughed a little bit while reading your answer. Since I'm at my job right now and have nothing better to do, let's go through your response shall we. |

Dye, .214, 6 HR. Crede, .215, 2 HR. Konerko, .202, 4 HR. Pierzynski, .216, 4 HR. Uribe, .224, 4 HR. Thome is injured. You have a team wide slump of epic proportions. You know they're better than this, so chances are, they'll start hitting soon enough. Thome wont be on the DL for too long, and the Sox will start kicking some butt. |

our only hits are homers, its killing me. Just gotta hope they get out of this funk soon Their offense seems to be built around the 3 run HR even though Ozzy likes to play small ball. Unfortunately for them they don't have many guys who hit for a high average to get on for their mashers so I don't view them as a very potent offense. They will of course score more runs when their middle of the order guys heat up (Thome especially can carry a team when he's hot) but I don't believe they have a shot at the division because of how good Minnesota, Detroit, and Cleveland are. the sox were just one year wonders. your "offense" is never coming back. the sox are as arrogant and misinformed as their fans...as you have proven yourself Because Kenny Williams f-ed it up by resigning Podsednik. What he needed to do is go sign a leadoff hitter who could play center. Instead he signed Podsednik again. No we are down a player because Anderson was not given the chance (why they even brought him up makes no sense since they never really gave him a chance). So Erstad is playing center, and there is no one in left. So we have a big hole at the top of the lineup. Add that to the fact that some players with histories of slumps are all slumping, and you get a bad offense. It will be there....just hope the pitching stays here |
