| American League baseball: where in the batting order is the MOST common spot for the Designated Hitter to bat? |
|
If you have a resource to point me to, great! I would also like to know for games on April 5th, what spot in the batting order were the DH hitters? I made a bet that at least 51% batted fourth. Do you think I win or not? |

Well, I know you lost the bet and that's before I even double checked the box scores (which you can easily do with a copy of yesterday's paper or mlb.com) |

4th? I don't really like baseball but it seems that if there are three bases and you have one person on each of them, it would be good to get a good hitter then. Actually, I have no clue. good question. I would guess 4th. DHs are usually good power hitters who can't field, and power hitters usually bat 4th. it depends on what kind of hitter the designated hitter is, usually they are power hitters, so 3rd 4th or 5th, but it could be anywhere usually 4Th Travis Hefner [pronk they call him ]is the designated hitter for the Cleveland Indians i m definitely a tribe fan It matters about the hitter. Guys like David Ortiz and Travis Hafner have really good power, so they would, but guys like Tim Salmon bat at the bottom of the order. |
