| What is the difference in a $35 baseball bat and a $280 baseball bat? |

I was in the Academy high school baseball bats section in academy. I came accross a 31 in./28 oz. worth powercell baseball bat for $35 (NOT ON SALE!) I go further into the same part and in the same store and i come accross a 31 in./28 oz. worth powercell baseball bat for $280. |

there can be so many differences, barrel size, handle makeup, better cushining, less recoil , better bounce, really dont know where to start. i know a 200 worth hybrid that has 3 "sweet" spots. |

The bottom line is you will hit for the same average and power regardless of which bat you use. Report It $245..sorry, I couldn't resist!! The $280 cost more. the wood ? one costs more then the other $245.. lol.. im not really sure One of them has been seriously mispriced. $245. really there is no difference. But I guess they say "oh buy this bat...no flex in the swing"or"POWER TO THE PLAYER"the only difference would be a big barrel or somthin maybe is the material they use they are both used for the same thing but the more money you pay the best quality you will get. so you might buy a ball that is for $35 and last for only 1 week with you, or you can gt the $280 and last for years, which i think is batter because after the $35 one gets ruined you will have to buy another one. One costs $280 and the other costs $35 the difference between a $280 bat and a $35 bat is $245 size, metal type...... There are differences in the bat's construction, durability, materials, core, shock absorption, things like that. Do some research on these bats to really get to the bottom of it. Rating of bat...what NYC fan said Quality. The more expensive bats are made of better metal. |
