For a girl, 15 yrs of age that plays standard pitch (not fast pitch) softball, would a bat sized at 34" and 33 oz be an appropriate size?

It's a school team, and she's a good player, and I think they pitch over-hand, so it's not fast pitching, or anything like that. I don't have a feel for what size bat they use and what would be approriate. I wanted to get the bat as a gift....there's a model she's always wanted but her mother can't find, so I looked on ebay and think I found one, but I'm not sure about the size.

Does anyone know if this bat 34", 33 oz is a good size for a 15 yr old girl?

no, 34'' is to long and 33oz is to heavy for a standard game of softball that is not fast pitch. you should look into something more along the lines of 32'' 22oz because it's not fast pitch.

no, 33oz is normally too heavy. the length to weight ratio should be at least -3oz.
