Has anyone ever been to the Mets Fantasy Camp in Forida?

I'm going this Friday and I was wondering if there is anything I should know before I go. I spent a lot of money and I don't want to miss anything!!

no

My dad went down there 2 years ago and it was pretty cool, pretty much they divide you up and they put a pro as your coach. Then you just play ball. At the end they have an award ceremony and give trophys the mvp, best pitcher, good sportsmanship, etc. Also if I remember correctly the final game you play in the nearby minor league field and when my dad went the last day was either rained out or the stadium wasn't finished, so like two months later to make up for it they let everyone play at Shea, along with free tickets to the game afterwards.

By the way, if you think you may be out of shape or anything like that, chances are you arent worse then most of the people down there as long as you exercised and worked out a bit in advance.

Check out this guy's great blog from last year...

See you down there!
