I play shortstop and am serious about baseball and getting a new glove. Any college baseball players out there (middle infielders) that use Rawlings pro preferred or Primo gloves, and what do you think about them? do you like them? are primo & pro preferred worth the money? What are your glove suggestions?...i want a high quality glove that won't start to tear in the pocket like the rawlings gold glove model i have right now...im sure the pro preferred and primo are very high quality but are really expensive...any suggestions/help would be appreciated. Thanks

I am a D1 college middle infielder and I recently switched from a Wilson A2000 to a Rawlings Pro Preferred and I love it. Although it is rather expensive I thoroughly believe that it is a great investment. Each Pro Preferred is individually handcrafted to ensure great quality and durability. I think the Primo series is tremendously over-priced at $400. The same quality and performance can be obtained from a Pro-Preferred.

just go with the glove that feels right to you. thats what i did for softball i needed a new glove and i just got the one that works with me trust me.

Honestly, I love my Wilson A2000. I play for a D3 college right now and im also a SS. I payed about 200.00 for the glove and havent looked back once on how expensive it was because it was well worth it. Also, you cant really go wrong wiht rawlings. Majority of the pros use rawlings too.

Yes wear one if you plan on playing SS!
