| Frank White. Why is he not in the Hall of Fame? |
|
all those gold gloves, a world series ring, got more pop in his bat as his career went on, without this piece of the puzzle, those great Royals teams of the late seventies and early eighties would be just George Brett and a bunch of second and third place finishes |

i have wondered that question 4 years |

THIS is the best answer?? I guess stating facts, providing links, and telling the truth isn't enough. Obviously the best answer doesn't always mean best answer. "I have wondered that for years". Brilliant. Report It That's a good question. I wish I had a good answer, though. Three guys who should be in the Hall: White, Buck O'Neil, and Roger Maris. Frank White is not in the Hall of Fame because he was not a great hitter. He did have a couple of seasons, 1985 and 1986, when he hit 22 home runs each year, but he hit only .249 and .272 in those years, and it was downhill from there. The King of New York, didnt play baseball. Frank White has a career .255 BA and his OPB is .293 give jeffrey the ten points. I remember him as a kid. he did have talent. did not have the numbers but was a nice complementary player on a good team |
