What is the best kind of softball/baseball glove?

im looking for a new softball/baseball glove. what the best brand/kind? like Wilson? miken? nike? easton? mizuno? whats the best brand? please help!

I use an outfielder DeMarini baseball glove and I use it to play both softball and baseball. I like the way it feels because of the inside padding, and its got good insulation for your hand. You don't need to wear a batting glove with the mitt like people do with some mitts.

If your looking for batting gloves, go with Easton for padding and grip.

Louisville, Easton, Wilson, Mizuno, and Rawlings are probably the top brands. What is more important is the size. Each position takes a different glove. Shortstops normally have 11 1/2 with a few going a tad larger and second baseman typically anywhere from 11 to 11 1/2. For neither position do you want a deep pocket so you can have quick transfers. A typical 3rd baseman's glove is 11 3/4 to 12 with a deeper pocket b/c snagging the ball is more important. Most outfield gloves are 12 3/4. First baseman and catchers obviously have their own also.

there are 2 gloves that are far superior to all others. The Wilson A2000 and the Rawlings Heart of the Hyde
