| Who should win the AL gold glove at shortstop? |
|
Jhonny Peralta is a HORRIBLE defensive shortstop. They take him out when Carmona pitches due to his sinker - meaning he gets a ton of ground balls. |

OC from the angels I don't watch every team, and I don't look at every persons stats, but from what I've seen, every time the Blue Jays play the Yankees, John McDonald does a fantastic job at SS. Michael Young of the Texas Rangers Orlando Cabrera would be a fine choice. There were 9 AL shortstops that played at least 130 games - Range Factor should be far and away the most important when determining a players defensive ability, you have to be able to get to the ball first. Second should be the players fielding percentage. |
