It is a $275 glove, and i do not want anything too rough that will wreck the leather. does anyone know of a high quality glove oil?

not necessarily fast, just easy.

just put conditioning oil and stick it under ur mattress

Huh well that is an expensive glove. I always just sat and kneaded mine. Why would you want to do something fast for such a nice glove?

Put some neatsfoot oil in the pocket area, then put a ball in it and tie it tight at night. Do that until a pocket is formed.

just basically put any kind of oil on it. I also recommend just playing catch. but dont try to throw 90 mph fastball into it, at least not till u get it broken in.

play catch everyday for 30min.

Well....I know this sounds silly, but I used shaving cream (not the gel type). Massage it in (it conditions the leather), put a hardball or softball in it and wrap it with a tensor bandage (elastic bandage you'd wrap u'r injuries in) and put it under u'r mattress until morning.

do not use any oils, they break down the leather, what you want to do is place a softball in the glove to help form a perfect pocket. place the glove in a sealable bag remove all the air and seal shut tape the bag with duct tape and place into hot water for 7 hrs and then your set
