| How to break in a new baseball glove? |
I just got a new glove the other day and I want to know how to break it in without using any type of oil. |
Put a ball in the mit every night and wrap it tight with some rubberbands. Also, fold it just right as if you had just caught a ball, but WITHOUT the ball in the mit. Rubberband it up and put it on the driveway. Run it over with your car a few times. My brothers did it to my mit when I was little and I almost cried, BUT it worked like a charm lol Good luck! |

wear it alot. and put a baseball in the middle of the glove. then rubberband it together. put a ball in the pocket tie it shut with twine lay it on it's side put something heavy on it. or you could go outside and play catch Go out and use it 24/7 if you dont want to use oil than you have to break it in by using it Well, first of all, play catch with it. But, you can also put it under your matress when you're not using it. The matress's weight (plus your own when you sleep) will make the leather soft and more flexible. Wrap the glove around the ball. Tie a rubber band around it. Stick it under your mattress. Once you've done that, play with it. Play with it a lot. play with it alot just play catch all day, it will take a while but if you just keep playing catch youll wear it out.DETROIT TIGERS go out and play with it alot Put a dictionary between the glove and tie it around oils are the quickest way. there is some stuff called hot glove that i swear by. ive been playing baseball and/or softball for almost 30 years and i love this stuff. it comes in a can and looks like shaving cream. you put it on the glove rub it in and put the glove in the oven for 4 minutes. it sounds weird but you can immediatly feel the difference and the glove does not feel greasy. |
