for months & months they had fun making fun of other teams & their fans. brave fans cardinal fans philly fans yankee fans all heard the met fans boasting & pounding their chests talking all smack. now that they collapsed now they are mad because now they are being given to them what they gave to others for months. it doesn't feel good when the shoe is on the other foot now eh met fans? i enjoy your pain & suffering. you deserve it after abusing other fans for months.

This tends to happen alot with losers. When your constantly worthless and your short stop is dancing to Justin Timberlake's "Bringing Sexy Back" when they're losing, you'd be bitter too! So they rode the high horse all year, until THE LAST DAY OF THE SEASON......GOD I LOVE IT! Now you can all carve up your pumpkins like you did your season! HA HA, I AM SO IMMATURE AND IT FEELS AWESOME!!!

I agree to the fullest. I was in philly for a three games of a four game series earlier and constantly mets fans were running up and down the stairs and one person threw an apple at victorino, yet they can't take crap back.

They are the chokers this year. What a disappointment.

Met fans weren't they only trash talkers out on Y/A. I can remember quite a few Tiger fans out there who trashed talked the Yankees & Angels fans did the same. Quite a few fans from many teams talk bad about other teams. It's all part of being a baseball fan. I remember some Braves fans saying once they traded for Mark Texeira, how they were going to win division.

Again, just because one group of people do it, does that make it better than someone else does it.

Contrary to what someone said (about me) in your other post, I am not a Mets follower. I am simply pointing out the fact that the faceless internet causes people to do things they wouldn't think of doing in person.

However, again, if you get off on abusing people because they 'pounded their chests' during the season, then, I guess, good for you.
I think it's still sad, but perhaps because I don't drastically change personalities when I answer baseball questions, I don't understand the psychotic allure.
