| Why is ESPN so unapologetically biased? |
One of these idiots on FirstTake just read an email mentioning that he thought "fans around the country don't hate Barry Bonds as much as we thought they did! It's clear! They voted him in as a starter!" |
The masses don't hate Barry. I would be willing to bet if you went door to door and we got a true poll from the fans, it would be about 50/50. The masses do not hate Barry. On Yahoo Answers people come to rant about Barry so of course you are going to think that. |

Try not to watch espn then. You can get updates and a run through of all sports scores from many different channels now. Instead of quitting watching a sport, try changing the channel. No different than most of the media & fans who want to act as if Bonds is the only one who have done this. no ur a retard. how do u get mad from them saying its a suprise people hate bonds and he got voted as a starter. ur the biggest retard. go back to ur special ed I totally agree!! They are very biased. especially when it comes to East Coast vs West Coast. They give hardly any love to west coast teams. i know they do the same thing in college football, baseball, and basketball. hockey is almost non existant on there. and i totally agree about the state of basketball.... why do you think all the new basketball shoes have velcro? lol.... (see the LeBrons) ESPN's east coast biased is SICK!!!! The attention they give to the Yankees and Boston makes me wanna puke... They continue to keep showing their games especially when they're sure to win against another weak east coast team.. They didn't show any of the games in which the A's swept the Yankees nationally. Or when the Giants were beating them up either.... But they still gain most of the attention on that channel even when losing.. And keep asking if the Yankees can turn it around???? C'mon, no one in the west CARES!!!! YUCK!!! I know, its the best place for sports info but is sooooo bias!! The fact that so many people hate Bonds allows the media to constantly write articles, etc. about him instead of giving more attention to players who give it their all every day (Youkilis, Byrnes, Young) and deserve it. I don't watch ESPN except for Dodgers / Redskin games. Then I usually have the sound off and listen to the radio / online commentary |
