If there was a Hall Of Fame for goody-two shoes players who the media actually loved, who would be in it?

Good players only,past and present.

Kirby Puckett, Ernie Banks, Dale Murphy, Stan Musial, Walter Johnson, Yogi Berra, Harmon Killebrew, Johnny Bench, Ozzie Smith, Tony Perez, Hank Aaron, Sandy Koufax, Cal Ripken, and Honus Wagner

Lou Gehrig, Willie Randolph, Wade Boggs, Don Mattingly, Roberto Clamente, Bernie Williams, Cal Ripken, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron Report It

johnny bench, alan trammell, tony gwynn (sp?), henry aaron, ty cobb (just kidding about cobb), al kaline, george kell, roberto clemente

There have been many great players who were also nice guys and the media enjoyed covering them.

Some that come to mind are:

Cal Ripken, Jr.
Stan Musial
Bob Feller
Kirby Puckett (during his playing days)
Joe DiMaggio
Sandy Koufax (didn't talk much, but a class act)
and many, many,more...

However, if I had to pick one single player who was a true gentleman and one of the greatest hitters of all time, it would be Stan "The Man" Musial.

Mickey Mantle, Ernie Banks, Kirby Puckett, Torii Hunter, Cal Ripken, Harmon Killbrew, Curt Schilling.

The Media loved, HA HA HA!!! No one would be in, but sport writers!!!!
