| Red Sox Fans...How would you feel about Arod in a Sox uniform next year? |
|
Do you think fans would embrace him the way Yankee fans embraced Damon and Clemens? Bristow: The day that a team builds a franchise on stylish high fives, jokes, and players that smile is less likely than George Steinbrenner bouncing a check. I doubt any of that matters. Also, why would you buy his jersey if you'd like to curse him out. That would be like getting a tattoo that said "Sorry Girls, I'm Gay" and then asking a woman if you could buy her a drink - it just doesn't make sense now does it? |

Makes me sick!!! A-hole needs to stay away from the Red Sox...I don't care how great he is...he's the enemy lol. |

I think they should, he is a great player not going to happen, the sox dont want a big-game choker. That would be cool. I would except him and hope that they continue to kick the Yankee's A** next year! I don't see that happening. A-Rod is not a Boston (town, not team) kind of guy. Not a Boston fan but I think maybe the Sox would go after pitching-which they need-not hitting. Considering Schilling is toast, Wakefield is old and Dice-K is overrated as hell. a-rod aint goin no where but the boogie down baby and he'll never play for the red sux we just finished with the Curse of the Bambino and now we might have to think about The Curse of the A-Rod, the greatest not crucial performer in baseball history? I can't see him here, I see him maybe with the Angels Hitting id starting to become second to inportant after pitching. All the teams winning have pitvhing, NO. People love Lowell and want the Red Sox to re-sign him. A-Rod is one of the least popular people in Boston sports. If I saw A-Rod walking down the street, I would curse him to his face, however, if he went to Boston, I would be first in line for the jersey. With Manny coming up on the last year of his contract, the Sox will have a heavy bag of money to dish out. They are however going to let Shilling go at the end of the season, which will clear up about $10 million or so. Lowell is also a free agent and will want some coin for his great year as well. If they lose him, that is a big void behind Manny in the line up. I doubt that he will come to Boston but I will accept him as he does. wouldn't it blow everyone's minds if Payrod decided to go old school and put game before coin and signed with the....Kansas City Royals. never NEVER, he's a cheating, lieing, immature player and most immportantly HE PLAYED FOR THEY YANKEES!!! He should go but as a shortstop only and leave Lowell at 3rd base. What a 3,4,5, lineup that would be. *throws up* There would be no way to stop them. I'm a Red Sox fan, and if A-Rod opts. out of his contract, then we will pick him up. We almost had him before, but the players association didnt think we were paying him enough, so it was no deal and off to the yanks he went.. I would LOVE to see him there to watch Boston choke! Ask that to Jason Varitek |
