George has said Joe Torre will not have a job if he doesn't win the ALDS. After all this guy has done for the Yankees? I bet the Yankees score about 12 wins tonight to back up Joe.

he just is tired of losing he spends as much money as possible to win and it gets him nowhere, he needs to get rid of the gm and start to develop players like they did to get this team set up in the mid 90's. When they had soriano, posada, jeter, rivera, these guys was developed in the minors they need to get back to that instead of overpaying for washed up players past their prime(giambi).

im a met fan i can say george steinbrenner was the best thing that ever happened to the yanks. he brought billions of dallors nd made a great team. even thiough i hate him. joe toree shouldnt go. but then again he did fire and rehire martin 10 times
