| Baseball has reached the Championship Series stage. What's your take on the ALCS? |

And how is the betting action on the ALCS? |

I personally was happy to see the Indians knock off the Yankees, just so we didn't have to watch another New York vs. Boston series. The networks will have to keep their footage of Pedro tossing Don Zimmer on the shelf for one more season. The Red Sox made a lot of noise early and cruised to the AL East title, while the Indians quietly tied their ALCS opponents for the best record in baseball. I think this series will be a breath of fresh air for the fans; there won't be any of the soap-opera story lines that are involved with a Yankees/BoSox. This series will be pure baseball. Any series with that features the Red Sox is going to attract bettors; Boston is the popular choice right now, with about a 3/2 edge in dollars wagered. |

my take is that two really good deserving TEAMS made it and not just individuals... im hoping for the indians to pull it out even though the red sox took game 1 i think it will be a good series REDSOX!!!! After tonight's performance, thankfully it's a best of 7 for the pre-Colombian Americans. I'm really indifferent on the ALCS. I'm rooting for the Rockies for the NLCS. :) CLEVLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well The red sox will probably beat the Indians if their pitching continues this hot streak. Josh Beckett pitched six innings and only gave up 4 hits as he struck out 7. If Curt does that we will win again. The problem I see so far is Daisuke Matzuzaka who gives up way to many runs. Other than that I think that the Red sox are going to do very well. David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez got on base all ten times they were up to bat. Manny really has steped up this postseason and broke that horrible regular season slump. If that dynamic duo keeps doing what they are doing the red sox will win the ALCS. Now for the Indians. Even though they have a horrible history I think that it was a great accomplishment to get here, but someone has to go home and I do not theink that the Clevelend Indians Have what it takes to overcome a team like the redsox. Especialy when they are on a hot streak. Red sox in 5. |
