| Wow, how about those Colorado Rockies, huh? |

Do you recall what the Spring Training odds were that they'd get to the World Series? How can anyone bet against them now that they've won 21 out of 22 games? Nevertheless, I assume they'll be a big W.S. underdog, right? |

The Rockies have been a great story; they were 100/1 long shots to win it all in February, and again in May. Don't assume they'll be big underdogs to win the series. When you win 21 of 22, including sweeps in the Divisional and Championship Series, it has a way of improving your odds dramatically. It will be interesting to see how the long layoff affects Colorado, as they've been winning on emotion and momentum. The break has given them a lot of time to sit back and bask in the glow of their success. It'll be up to Clint Hurdle to keep the Rockies focused on beating on winning four more games. |

This is the best Rocktober ever! The Rockies deserve to win the series because they are not a bunch of high priced jerks-90% of the current Rockies team was brought up through the farm teams and groomed to play together.GO ROCKIES!!! Wow, I really didn't expect this from them. I hope they do it though! I'm pulling for them. I hope they win, but worry about the layoff for 8 days..it hurt the Tigers last year They are really good, well their hitting is. Pitching is horrible. Yes, they are a big underdog in the World Series. Those hot bats got to cool down eventually. They are going to be on 8 days rest going into the first World Series game. That is plenty of time for them to cool down. They sure were amazing in the National League Championship game. Watching them caused me to be astounded because they made it look so easy. i can bet against them because the national league sucks baseball need teams like the Rockies to keep the dream alive. |
