Is it better to sell 1980's Topps baseball cards as sets or individually?

Just keep it for your children. Only the Rickey Henderson is worth anything in that set right now!

i have several boxes of unopened baseball cards so the packs are sealed also i think they would sell at auction nicely!
it has quite a thrill to buy it unseen! dont you think ?

i think that individually will get you more money

individually in the case of extremely rare cars, but if they are not that rare than as a set

set is worth much more but only if you have every card

NEVER EVER NEVER EVER SELL A COMPLETE SET AS INDIVIDUAL CARDS.

Did I mention never? The no-names you'll never get rid of and the stars will fetch low-end value.

EW, my stomach is turning just thinking about it! YIKES

Sets, never sell a complete set as individual cards some of the cards aren't so good and you'll never get rid of them but remember keep your cards in a safe place and each year the price of them will go up about 3-5 bucks as a set.
Good Luck

I think that you would get more for them as a set but i agree with holding on to them for your kids they'll only go up in value.
