Im a big cubs fan, i want him as our owner. express why you think (and im almost certain) why selig will reject his application.

cuban is just the right person to own the cubs. He will add the needed excitement to the major leagues. unfortunately selig will reject his application because he wants one of his friends to own the team. one of his friends is appyling. I HATE SELIG

Selig will probably reject it because Selig is just a walking poop. That's why.

he has a reputation of opening his mouth and badmouthing commissioners. also, he is belligerent at games.

Money talks, if anything, he should be allowed buy the Brewers and take the Commish's family out of any mix. In any other sport that's nepotism. I mean, look at the time they talked about folding either Montreal or the Twinkies, and no one mentioned the Brewers.

He put in an offer, but realistically he doesn't have the money for it. I would love it personally and I think Selig would. Selig is open to crazy personalities that better the game. Stern is a nice guy but doesn't like anybody questioning him.

he doesnt fit the old school baseball owners mold.

While yes this could be good for baseball, their is just a lot of history which doesnt follow mark cubans style.

So thats the only thing i could figure.

again, baseball ownership is old school, and mark cuban is new school. Its just too much change for baseball.

Because he is too vocal. That is the only reason I can think of.

Other team owners might oppose his owning the Cubs as well.

when mr cuban bought the mavs mr seligs side kick cant remember the name but seligs side kick told selig cuban would be bad for the nba no way selig would let cuban in im a angels fan anyone would be happt to have cuban as a owner he spends money and loves to win

selig wont have to reject his application. if hes choosen to move forward with application the rest of the owners will reject him. he needs every owner to approve and theres no way there going to let a somewhat loose cannon come in and mix it up a bit.

Because Selig's Brewers are in that division.
