| So, is Carl Pavano the biggest bust in New York Yankee History or what? What did the Yankees give him? 4? |
|
years - 50 million? And he has won a total of 5 games the past 3 seasons with the yankees. That's 10 million per win. Another great move by Cashman, NOT. Randy Johnson was not a bust. He won 17 games each season he pitched for the Yankees. And he was over 40 in each season. That's pretty good for an old guy with a banged up body/back. |

Pavano is worthless! Certainly the biggest bust in recent years. Maybe Kevin Brown or Hensley Meulens. |

No...Randy Johnson! It was 4 years at $39.95 million, which means about $8m per win. Right now it looks like their roster of 25 sucks. I doubt ARod will be back. I'm a Jeter fan-even he is part of the problem it looks like. They need pitching bad. Same as everyone else. bust yes. the entire team is a bust. just rebuild now Pavano is far from the biggest bust.Look at there last 4 seasons together 7 gold glovers 12 former all-stars.Why dont you look at 3rd base and then look at first base where Mr Muscle cant play anymore. Why dont they try and buy the whole league.Or why not try and by a couple more Red Sox players. If they make a move to bring it Santana or if they try and get someone like Pudge ther season next year is already over.SAY goodbye to Posada if Torre is gone. Pavano isn't there problem there heart is gone.Say goodbye to the evil empire PAVANO=pig on a bench. Tell me what Free agent pitcher you would want that can crack the starting rotation next year if it looks like this: Pettite, Wang, Hughes, Chamberlain and Kennedy. I don't think there is one out there. They have the starting pitching, they need some pen help. That is really all they need at this time. thankfully the yankees signed him before the detroit tigers did.....thanks george. Oh Yeah giambi is a bigger bust than pavano.... pavano sits at home while giambi plays and hurts us. |
