Mike Hargrove. Cleveland. GO TRIBE!!!!! I would say Miller Huggins. He got Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig and along with owner Col. Ruppert, they turned the New York Yankees into one of baseball's greatest teams. They won nearly 30 World Series Titles until this day. I'll throw Ralph Houk in there, although Stengel is hard to argue. Joe Maddon all the way baby! Connie Mack has the record for most wins by a manager with 3731, almost 1000 more wins than the second place manager, John McGraw. Tony LaRussa is currently 3rd, with 2297. Dick Howser... GO ROYALS!!!!!!! Bobby Cox. Who else won 16 straight division titles The Old Perfesser, Casey Stengel. He maneuvered baseball players like a master chess player maneuvere his chess pieces. And was always two moves ahead of the game. Casey Stengel. Hall of Famer Earl Weaver lead the O's to two titles as a fierce, manager who was know for his firey temper Casey Stengal.... Billy Martin, all he cared about was winning that year, not next year. |
