Who will be only the 2nd manager in MLB history to win a WS in both leagues?

Sparky Anderson was the 1st.
Cincinnati 1975 & 1976
Detroit 1984

Larussa
Oakland in 1989
St Louis 2006?

Leyland
Florida 1997
Detroit 2006?

Either way it will be a very exciting Series.

I love it when 2 great baseball towns play each other for The Crown of all Crowns!

Yes I am rooting for The Tigers.

But if St Louis did win, I'd be okay with that too.

Well I dont have to answer that GEORGIE you know who I'm rooting for,but history was made tonight with the CARDINALS winning tonight, and it will be made again in about 10 days.I hope it goes 7 games with every game going extra innings, then let the chips fall where they may."GOOD LUCK"

tony

I'll bet I know who your rooting for. Yeah big surprise

i am not allowed to answer this question i love the cards and i love the tigers but i hate they are playing eachother. but my heart kinda lies with the cards because of pujols.

Detroit and Leyland in 6 games.

dam it cardinal won. wasnt way i predicted. though it was gonna be mets vs detroit with detroit coming out on top

I think Jim Leyland and his fiersome Tigers will sweep the world series!! :)

The Tigers have a great team but the Cards have more playoff experience.

In the end, I think Leyland will become the second manager to have won a Series in both leagues.

Oh man, I can't wait. May the best team win. I'm glad we're playing a team like the Tigers. They remind me of the Cards, in that NO one gave them a chance. To all the people that thought that it would be another Subway Series: KISS MY @SS!!!

You'd be OK with St. Louis winning? What bunny hole did I fall into? You will be going bananas starting Saturday night. Enjoy. These Cardinals are highly annoying and no one has told them that they don't belong there

I'm hoping it will be Leyland, either way it should be a great series. I've got the fever so bad that I've got Leyland as my screen saver now. Whew I can't wait. GO GETTUM TIGERS !!

Georgie Porgie you know the answer to the question! Leyland for Governor of Michigan! Bless you Boys!

I hope Leyland becomes the second manager to win a world series in both leagues. In all honesty I can't root for a team that went 83-78 for the regular season. It's almost non deserving of any kind of title. I'll tell ya Georgie, one of these days we will have a division winner with a win-loss record under .500. It will no doubt set of a firestorm about who should and should not be in the playoffs. For now I just hope Detroit wins. They are the better team and had the better season.

Hope it's Leyland!!!!!!

Cardinals highly annoying? don't belong there? Ummmm.....sounds like a sore loser. Why you can't tip your hat that they played a good series? (not you Georgie Porgie, one of the guys above me)

Anyway, I am rooting for Cards all the way, but it will take a lot of luck for them to win. I hope they get lucky!!

sorry---not this year. tony.

LEYLAND no 2.
