they are the only MLB team with 10,000 loses
since they were found in 1883 they have won just one championship in 1980 since the world series era (1903) have appeared in only five world series (1915, 1950, 1980 1983 and 1993) with 1980 the only win

Yankees...Beside them...White Soxs, then Dodgers,,Then Jays, then Cards, Then Brewers, Then Braves, Then well the list goes on

I second the Phillies. Sure, they've had some success, but think about how much "effort" it takes to "achieve" 10,000 losses.

Sure enough, it also takes plenty of time. Anyway, read all you want about the ineptitude of those Philadelphia Phillies (the oldest franchise that has never undergone a name change).

Also the A's going back to Phili and such. They were though i much better and almost dominating team at times

Sadly its the San Francisco Giants. Since arriving in San Francisco in 1958 we have had three world series appearances (1962, 1989, 2002) but no wins.
