It absolutely sucks I did not want to see Nixon come to bat cause you knew he was gonna do damage. And your also right about the fairweather fans leaving the game. All those empty seats that are seen right now are the seats that cost like $150 a ticket and are not real Sox fans. Its the rich people who bought the tickets cause it was a playoff game. You would never see half those people at a game in August.

In a strong sense it's sweet justice...........I followed Trot's career since he was in the minors.........He was then touted to be one of the best upcoming young players heading for super stardom.........However, a severe back injury slowed his career down and his introduction to the majors.........To me it's not a sour feeling........The former team let him go and he showed them maybe they shouldn't have........There are some fans that actually root for the individual players, and not just a logo, and will follow that player from team to team.......To me those are real baseball fans who back their favorite players no matter what logo they wear........I'm loyal to my favorite team, Yankees, but there are players on many different teams that I will root for as individuals.........Sorriano is one of them.........He belts one and I'll cheer for him..........That's just one example..........CAT
