Now as to baseball, he's still right. The Sox aren't eliminated. Manny has been a big contributor to their offense all post season long. He's obviously done his best. What he says is true, because the team loses, not Manny, and they shouldn't feel bad for being the 2nd best team in the AL.

Why should he go into histrionics just because it's the playoffs? What's he supposed to do? Cry every time they lose? He's a professional. He's taking a professional approach.

And to the diddly morons who want him to speak English: will that increase his batting average? Win games in the post season? Grow up. English in baseball is as useful as after shave on a bull.

don`t know what the big deal is Manny never says anything, so when he does it is expected to be something dump!

normally athletes don't say things like that, because its a bit insensitive. I'd hate to be the guy that spent $600 for that game 6 ticket back in Boston and he says that, or a season ticket holder.

In fact, I am going to go into my boses office today and tell her that I don't really care how my current project turns out - if it's a failure, it doesn't really matter because there will just be another project to work on.
