Where is the instant replay in baseball????????

last nights rockies and padres game the were 2 bad calls from umpires. 1 of them that cost the padres the game. do u think mlb should consider this rule. im not talking about balls and strikes but maybe only in post season or world series games what do u think

ed go back to your special ed class u to jeremy who said that I am a padres fan you losers in fact im a angels fan. and can give a s--t if the padres win or lose i did mention there where 2 bad calls 1 was that homerun that you idoits mentioned. there were bad calls period. and u know it so why not the replays in the post season tie breakers or world series. these umps can see everytime

NO NO NO NO NO.............. #1 rule of a baseball player, do NOT leave it in the umpires hands. Called looking at strike 3, too bad, trapped a ball instead of catching it, too bad, you can NOT leave the game up to the umpires, room for error is one of the FEW thing that makes baseball such a great sport. i will be HIGHLY disappointed if i see bobby cox throwin a red hankie on the field instead of walkin out there and cursin the umpires geneology all the way back to adam..... NO REPLAY

It couldnt hurt, it has worked for other Pro sports why not baseball, its just as fast as any other sport and not all the Umps can catch everything.

Well it's the Rockies and Padres...I doubt anyone was really watching...I know I was on Monday Night Football...

Why add more time to a game that already has 162 games in a season, and takes 9 innings to play? I love baseball don't get me wrong, but come on now.

No. Keep the game of Baseball sacred. This is a game that has lasted for over a hundred years on substance. Keep it that way. But Blue did blow it. I'm for tradition. Call me old fashion but i still like the fact that Baseball is still about tradition.

I think there should be instant replay... the game last night would have been over sooner had they ruled it a home run instead of a double... of the chair.

Gimme a break. Another bitter Padres fan. These type of calls happen all the time, your just upset because THIS time it was your team. Would you have cared if it would have been someone else? Doubtful...

Someone else said it best. Do not ruin the sanctity of our game!

***It is because of people like you that one day everyone will be walking around in a bubble. Oh no. Its not fair. Waaaaaa!

I hate the idea of instant replay in baseball. By the way, the Rockies hit a homerun in that game, but it wasn't called a homerun. If instant replay was used in that game the Padres still would've lost. Get over it Padre fans.

Hey retard, I'll go to special ed classes right after you learn how to spell.

Judgement calls should never be reviewed.

I have no problem with replay on whether home run balls were fair or foul or over the fence or not.

If replay was used last night, the game might've still ended with a Rockies victory - Atkin's 2B would've been called a HR instead, giving the Rockies the lead.
.

I hope there never is instant replay. All of baseball is a judgement call. Right calls get made, bad calls get made. Only 50% of the fans ever agree with an ump at any time anyway.

Besides, how many times have we seen where a guy didn't tag a base or catch a ball but still "sold the ump" on the play.

Instant replay slows down all the other sports. If you're an official, have big enough shoulders to accept the weight of your calls. Don't look for the guy in the booth to do it for you.
