Little league rules?

I want to know the rules regarding a player who does not arrive until 30 minutes before the game is over (2 hour game limit he arrives 1 1/2 hour late). The coach removed another player and put in the late kid. I should add that the kid that was late was the coaches own son and the kid that was removed was my son. Everyone is telling me this is a pretty crappy thing to do, but were unsure what the rules were regarding this sort of thing. Generally, our experience has been that if you did not attend practice or are late to a game than you cannot play or must be played as a "sub". Any thoughts on this???? thanks

In little league all players on a team are required to play at least 1 inning, however all coaches are predjudiced towards their own. Even when their kid sucks they still put them in the most vital positions and at the top of the batting order. I go through this little league stuff too. Good luck.

I believe that is not allowed. If it does become a consistent problem, bring it up with him or the league president.
