The fact that "resellers" - re: legal scalpers - buy up all of the tickets and then sell them on their websites as huge inflations is ridiculous and unfair to the real fans.

When the Phillies made the playoffs the only way to get tickets was to enter your name into a random lottery or be a season ticket holder. If your name got picked you had the chance to buy tickets. The day after the tickets were sold, what a surprise! - Craigslist is full of people selling $40 face value tickets for the 400 level (the worst possible seats at Citizen's Bank Park) for $350.

I wouldn't pay any more than face value for any sports ticket, even if my team was playing at home in the World Series. If I didn't luck out and get picked in the random drawing, I wasn't meant to be there.

Less than what they're charging I'm sure, but I don't care for any team that's left.

I would pay a reasonable price and that's it. I sure wouldn't pay those ridiculous, astronomical fees many people charge. I don't care how important the game is, or where the seats were located, or that it's "my team". I can still see the game for free on my TV, complete with instant replay, and frequent trips to my kitchen for cheap food, and no lines at the rest room. And guess what? After the game, my car is already in my driveway.

Well I don't have that much disposable income right now so a couple hundred probably....if I had unlimited funds I would be willing to spend up to $5000/ticket if they were awesome seats.

Nothing! I don't like baseball. But I guess if the Yankees (AMERICA's TEAM) were playing: I'd pay a couple hundred or so just for the excitement of it all!
