The Yankee owner is rich and likes spending money, thats where the money comes from. And it comes from the bandwagoneers that live in places from San Diego to Florida that don't want to root for their local team because they suck, so for them to say "Im a Yankee fan" is the easiest way for these lame brains to say that they belong to a "cool" fan base.
