The Mets Pitching coach was the one who suggested they trade Kazmir and keep Victor "Frickin" Zambrano. I have continually stated this for years that that was a horrible trade as Glavine is getting older and the Mets have a great team that needed to keep the stud kid.

Rick White was a middle reliever who's claim to fame was his similar appearance to David Wells (at least for me). He does indeed need to be fired, wherever he is. I'm upset about Zambrano too, but let's see how he does tomorrow...either way, it was a bad trade.

You have to understand that at the time they made the trade, the Mets were making a playoff push and he was a useful player at the time. Of course in hindsight many deals turn out sour. Dodgers let Pedro go, Texas let Hafner go, the list goes on and on. At the time, you couldn't really argue against the trade. Of course now it would be different.
