| How many former managers later became coaches? |

There are just too many to list all of them. The New York Yankees had Larry Bowa, Tony Pena, Joe Kerrigan or their coaching staff. There is probably at least one coach on each team that was a former manager...Lloyd McClendon(Det), Tom |

There is also Bucky Dent (Cin), Carlos Tosca, Lee Mazzilli (NYY), Believe me when I tell you it's too many to count. For the past 100 years there has been a community of baseball people who have been part of the "Good Ole' Boy Network". They hire and re hire the same people. If you research it you will find dozens that fall into this category. Just off the top of my head, Larry Bowa is another. just look at the Yankees coaching staff... |
