| Serious question about coaching baseball...? |

When trying to get a job as a coach at the high school or jr. college level, is it necessary to have coaching experience or could just playing experience be good enough for you to get hired on? |
|
If in an either/or situation, they look for coaching experience over playing experience. If you've cracked a minor league roster though, that will trump a lot experienced candidates. |

G'day Noclone, First of all you need a college degree, either an AA, AS or BA, BS. If you're not a member of the present school facility to can be given an appointment through the school. Facility members can usually apply for an available job as part of their extra duties. They are paid according. Experience helps a great deal but is not necessary. Been there, done that!! |
