wow bro, games aren't that expensive, just go watch a game in the outfield, those tickets are under $20. And if you think its time-consuming, you shouldn't be doing it in the first place. |

go to a minor league game. theyre inexpensive, and the players need fans in the seats. Baseball isnt all that complicated once you understand the rules, and just like everything else, practice makes perfect. I would say youre doing fine. It seems youre learning something new every day. Keep watching baseball, youll pick up the intracasies real quick. good luck There are also some training tapes for coaches that you can watch to help you. They are sold at sporting goods stores. Don't stress out too much, you are learning just like they are. Everyone is there to enjoy the game. Try not to get too upset with yourself. Sign up for MLB.TV.com. You can watch any game from the past 2yrs at any time you want. The NY Yankee broadcasters are very good at explaining baseball situations. get a sports info movie do you do drills with them? that helps wats wrong with them? Is there a local college or high school nearby? Ask their coach where he gets some of his drills and coaching tips. Also ask some of the parents that wouldn't coach the team for some practice time help. Put them to work. Make sure to have a writtten plan for each and every practice. Other teams want to win, but they also want to play a skilled team, which makes their team better. So ask another coach for some skill drills and maybe they will even let you sit in the dugout with them during a game to see how they work a game.
