| Should baseball have 8 teams enter the playoffs per league instead of 4? |

Well, seeing as none of the ALDS or NLDS series were competitive as it was, I don't see how adding more teams to the playoffs helps. The season is 162 games already, the wheat is pretty well seperated from the chaff by the time October comes around. |

ya.. No, it would go on forever. We already have (cold night) games in the end of October. Enough is enough! Bud Selig thinks that the games are more competitive with the current format. Normally, teams that win 90+ games make the playoffs, while the teams that don't win close to 90 games, don't. no that would mean more games Baseball needs to rid itself of the evils created by the playoff system by the eliminating the playoff system altogether . no....i think the 1 wild card format is perfect, or close to it 8 why stop there, just have everyone make the playoffs, even have a few minor league teams join in to make it interesting. NO because they would be playing baseball til late November and early December...and it gets way to cold in the northern cities They need to go to 4 divisions with 4 winners. No!!!!! No way! How long do you want the season to go? No, 8 per league is too many. Assuming you mean 3 division winners and 5 wild cards, the extra playoff teams this year would have been: as much as I love baseball then it will be as about as long as the NHL or NBA post seasons. No way baseball is boring enough |
