Interesting question. I look forward to seeing more answers. Sandy Alomar Jr. and Sr. Bonds,Griffey,Fielder,spiezio,rose,Gwynn... theres lots more those are off top of my head Ken Griffey Sr and Ken Griffey Jr actually played together on the same team. I believe they were the first to do so. I'm shocked that no one mentioned Hal and Brian McRae.
Soon to be on this list: Roger and Koby Clemens. There's been a bunch. Some of the better knowns:
Bobby and Barry Bonds
Ken Sr. and Ken Jr. Griffey
Gus, Buddy, and David & Mike Bell (3 generations)
Ray, Bob, and Bret & Aaron Boone (3 generations)
Mel and Todd & Mel Jr. Stottlemyre (don't feel bad if you missed Mel Jr.; he's a footnote)
Cecil and Prince Fielder
Pete and Pete Jr. Rose (another footnote)
Tony and Eduardo Perez
Tim and Tim Jr. Raines
Sandy and Roberto & Sandy Jr. Alomar
Felipe and Moises Alou
Jesse and Josh Barfield
Yogi and Dale Berra
Pedro and Pedro Jr. Borbon
Jeff and Sean Burroughs
Tito and Terry Francona
Tony and Anthony Gwynn
Julian and Stan Javier
Fred and Jason Kendall
Hal and Brian McRae
Maury and Bump Wills
Joe and Lance Niekro
Steve and Nick Swisher
Jose and Danny Tartabull
and, unfortunately,
Haywood and Marc Sullivan (yecch)
Only the Griffeys (Seattle 1990-91) and Raineses (Baltimore 2001) have played together.
If Koby Clemens ever gets the call, he and papa Roger join the list.
Note, Cal Ripken Sr. never played in the majors. bonds, fieldiers, spiezos Names not mentioned on previous answers:
Mel & Ed Ott
Gary Matthews & Gary Matthews Jr.
Floyd & Brian Bannister
Dave & Adam & Andy LaRoche
Steve & Nick Swisher
Ray (grandpa) & Bob (dad) & Aaron & Bret (sons) all allstars
Tony Gwynn & Tony Gwynn Jr.
Those are the ones that I can think of right now.
Totally forgot:
Tony Armas & Tony Armas Jr. There have been dozens of them. See the link below for a list. Good source below.
A couple of corrections: Hairstons are the third third generation family in baseball. The first was Gus, Buddy and David Bell; the second was Ray, Bob and Aaron and Bret Boone.
Mel and Ed Ott are not related. Bonds and Boones The Bonds, Bells, Boones,Roses and Griffeys Bonds Bobby and Barry
Alous Felipe and Moises
Alomars Sandy Sr, Sandy jr, and Roberto
Boones Bob, Brett and Pat.
Fielders Cecil and Prince Way to go, Campfieldd, don't know how many people got that one. No one has yet mentioned Todd and Randy Hundley, Bob and Terry Kennedy, or Mookie and Preston Wilson. how about the Bonds, the Alou's, the Francona's,the Boone's buddy bell and david
