What kind of little league takes you to like the nationals because i was in a little league team but that dont

take you no where i was hoping somebody knows where i can subscribe to a league that takes you to the nationals on espn because the local baseball little league teams are weak?

The only way to get to the nationals is to make sure you are playing on a true little league team. Not all teams are a part of the Little league. If a league has a charter from Little League, they are eligible to compete for the chance to go to the Little League World series. I played on a team many years ago that got beat in a regional final, coming within one game of going to Williamsport. It's not easy to get to that point, you have to play a lot of smaller tournaments to get even close. No Little League team "takes" anyone to the nationals - they have to qualify to get there.

If you want to go out for a "powerhouse" baseball team, you want to sign up for a travel team, like in hockey or AAU basketball. These teams go all around the country and state and dedicate lots of time to it. It will cost money, but it will pay off. Those recreational teams are small leagues that just play games for fun and hand out participation trophies. Don't aste your time or money. Good luck!

The little teams that are in my area belong to alittle leaque association and are sanctioned by the leaque. But the teams dont go as indivdauls. The player are picked by the coaches of all the taems, and these kids are put on a team and the coaches for that taem is also choosen. The call it an all star taem. They are put in divisions and ad vance to different regions as long as they win. Most smaller communities rely on lets say several small towns to field teams and try to get local busisness to sponswer them to buy uniforms and equiptment. My son played in a leaque like this and yet they do form allstar teams they only play against each other.I know it doesnt sound as rewarding, but you still get to play ball for a few more weeks after regular season is over. Some coaches will find teams in other areas that have touniments that they can partispate in.My only answer to you is to try to find a team in a larger community that belongs to the Little Leaque assoiciation, but remember what ever area of ball you are playing im sure you are having fun,and try to improve your skills and try out for your High school team when your old enough.Youplay alot of games and if your high school has a goog season they can go imto state tourminate play This can be real exciting and you will get a chance to see a lot of good baseball. The high school in my area won the state championship in their division ,i believe in 2002.Lots of oppurtinity out their to play a lot of ball in a lot of age brackets We have a PAL leaque for kids 13 to 16 ,then we have as American Legion leaque for the older players 16 to 18 a lot of high school kids get involed in this, and the list goes on like college etc.Hey just have fun and may be I will see you in a few years playing for a pro team somewhere, its possible you know!!

You Have to be on the district team and your team will have to win a lot of championships
