Why didn't Bob Sheppard, the 97 year old NY Yankees PA announcer announce the game tonite? I watched the game

on TV, and it was clear that the person doing the announcing over the loud speakers at Yankee Stadium wasn't Bob Sheppard, "The voice of God" as he is called. Is Bob sick, not feeling well?

Well, I just answered my own question. According to wikipedia.com, it says that because of illness, Bob won't be announcing the ALDS series. I hope he's ok, I mean the guy is almost 100, and has been the Yankees PA guy since 1951.

Err, ya what they said. At least I got the "itis" part right.

He is having health issues at the moment. I think he might die soon.
