| What would happen to a Indian Fan who attended a game at Yankee Stadium? |

Only if the Indian fan has a wish to committ suicide. |

Nothing. I've been to Yankee Stadium with all my red sox **** on. They might make a joke and then u say who won the WS last? Said fan would probably watch a baseball game, eat a huge soft pretzel and drink some beer. At least that's been my experience. The worst thing that will happen is you might get a butthole fan who won't get up out of his seat for you to get a drink because you are not a yankee fan. i got to yankees stadium all the time...al we would do is heckle a cleveland fan. If you've ever been to NYC you'd know that the people are very nice and arent violent. The answer above that says that the fan would be harmed is an immature kid who has never been to the city and prob has no friends. nothing we the Yanks know we the best so it doesn't matter we win more then any other team. Fans at The Stadium, in general, are very intelligent, well-behaved, lovers of the game. Not sure, but I hope to someday experience what it's like to be an Astros fan at Yankee stadium. Though I won't be there to represent the 'Stros, considering we aren't in the same league. I'll be going to see the beautiful ballpark. Well, go with a thick skin, but GO, show your colors! I was at games 1 and 2 of the ALDS at the Jake, and there were quite a few Yankee fans there. They annoyed us (til we got the last laugh), and there were a few verbal scuffles... mostly all very young male types. But for the most part, if you're not bothering them, they shouldn't bother you. I talked to some of them, and they were just like us. Every game, in every city, there ARE people in the stands proudly wearing Chief Wahoo gear. However, it may not be a good idea to start a "Yankees Suck" chant. LOL I don't know, but did you hear about the fan from Washington State who almost got paralyzed when a drunk Yankee fan fell on his neck? What would happen is this! i went to a yankee game and i was siting in a non acholic place too I was at the game last night and 3 rows ahead of me sat two young guys with INDIAN TEAM SHIRTS on.... they were the only Indian fans in our section and took a bit of good natured ribbing from almost everyone around their seats.... one Yankee fan directly in front of me was HYSTERICAL with his ribbing....I haven't laughed like that in a VERY long time... and the kids took it all in stride..........I HAVE seen at Yankee/Boston games, people in actual FIST FIGHTS with Boston fans sitting in the stands at Yankee Stadium.... I also attended a game of the 3 game SWEEP of Boston a few weeks ago at Yankee Stadium and two people sitting NEAR where I was (right next to the Squirrel's poll)...were dragged out by the cops for starting a FIST FIGHT... (they HAPPENED to have been BOSTON FANS).... One year I sat in the bleachers during w most HORENDOUS shouting match between Yankee fans a the few Boston fans sitting near us... THOUGHT it would get physical but the cops were on it like crazy----never thought those boys could move as fast as they did jumping over bleachers and everything... BUT, for the most part you are pretty safe... but NEVER EVER wear a t-shirt to Yankee Stadium during a Boston game that says ANYTHING remotely close to Boston Sucks because they WILL make you put something on OVER it or take it off or leave the game... THAT happened to a girl behind me... they said it OFFENDS the Boston players!!!! i love the tribe, and i was in yankee stadium in 97 when we beat'em. it was a great experience to watch a playoff game in yankee stadium. yankee fans are a lot of fun, i saw a number of them in cleveland last week and we had a blast. thats what makes the playoffs so much fun, giving each other **** and trying to piss each other off. go tribe! If you're wearing Indians gear, you'll get severely booed. If the surrounding fans are sober, you'll get verbally abused. If the surrounding fans are drunk, watch out. They'd razz you a bit but I bet a couple would probably buy you a beer for all the suffering you've gone through as a loyal Indians fan. I've been to plenty of games at Yankee Stadium, including playoff games. Nothing that bad really happens unless you happen to sit next to someone who gets drunk (or if you try to start a "Let's go Indians!" chant). I'd guess that the worst thing that could happen to an Indian fan would be the reaction after seeing what the stadium charges for beer. |
