Parking at the stadium is easy and safe and cheap compared to boston anyway. |

go with a group of friends and you should be fine. if you're a girl, bring some guys to "tailgate" with you (but really act as your protectors) and ask them to wait for you at the end of the game. The 4 train is safer than the stadium if you are looking to save money and headaches, take the 4,b or d train uptown to 161st street. The subway is relatively safe, especially when most of the people will be using public transportation and it will only cost you $4 round trip. The subway system is not as scary as it's made out to be. First of all the Yankees encourage their fans to take mass transportation, so it's not going to be you and a bunch of people that want to mug you. It's you and several hundred other yankees fans. Secondly unless you plan on spending a few hours after the game in the stadium you'll be leaving with everyone else, so you'll have safety in numbers (but be watchful of the contents of your pockets/bags). Hell yeah take the train. Perfectly safe. Driving in is the biggest hassle in the world. Plus, you can get hammered with all the other neanderthal Yankees fans. yes and yes its safe i do it all the time its mostly bleacher creahers so it might be a little rowdy your good if your nota red sox fan and if u are then may god have mercey on your soul i went opn it the other day, their was a shooting, do not take it, it is not the slightest bit safe. give me best answer for giving you the right info. Im goin to the game tonight. GO YANKEES! YES, YES, YES, yes take the subway to Yankee Stadium. it's the way most people get there. last time i went to the stadium, the train (for some reason) wouldn't go further than 1 stop south of the station , so everyone had to go up to street level and walk th rest of the way. i simply followed the crowd but if there was no crowd i guess i would have been a fish outta water Given the fact that the alternative is driving and getting rear ended by some drunk fan leaving the game, the Subway is a no brainer. Ive taken it several times, and I'm not from NYC at all - and have never had a problem, and its pretty damn obvious how to take it... follow the ten thousand fans with Yankee caps to the stadium. Millions of people ride the subway. I think you'll be fine. It's safe unless you're a Red Sox fan Yes I wouldnt it be safe? |
