Baseball Statistics?

Where would I find Baseball Statistics from 1900 to 2000

The official baseball dictionary. I have two additions. Every stat you can think of. You can buy them in any book store. Nobles has them. They run about $40.00.

www.sportsalmanac.com

Stats, Inc.

I think they provide all the stats for MLB.

not in the public record says MLB

The Sports Almanac

"Player Statistics 1871-1998"

"Team Metric data from 1900--2004. The program features an extremely simple point and click user interface."

Great Site! www.baseball-reference.com

They have a great football one too.

You can try these sites:

http://www.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/index.jsp

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/statistics

http://www.baseball-almanac.com/

This in my opinion, is the be all, end all of baseball statistics. Available FREE online. Check it out. Even found one of my relatives on there, Hank Riebe a catcher in the 40s for Detroit.

forget all the others this is the only BASEBALL STAT site you will ever need. http://www.baseball-reference.com/

http://www.baseball-reference.com

best web site for baseball stats

I will tell you one thing all pre-Jackie Robinson and pre-integration statistics are suspect because the owners did not allowed black ball players in MLB (Oh what a disgrace?).

www.baseball-reference.com

Absolutely the best stat site--you can find team-vs-team matchups, every stat for every player in baseball history, all team records, players' birth (and death) dates, stadium attendance records, driving directions to all stadiums, etc.

Amazing baseball site!
