1. He's not a bust: he's probably over the hill. Eventually, we might be able to call him a bust--but it's too early in the contract. Plus, he was brought to the US for marketing purposes as much as for what he does on the field.

2. I'm guessing his ability to go for a national team was negotiated in his gigantic contract. HOWEVER, I also believe he was dropped from the national team. So it's a non-issue.

He's overrated washed up & only reason he was even brought to this country is because he's a celebrity kiss azz who's around celebritites all the time so they think he can bring the celebrity element to the games & make them seem important.

hahah First off I think David Beckham playes soccer not baseball and yeah he is a bust. I mean just look at him...

1) calling him a bust is a total understatement
2) they should insist on him going back to England because nobody cares about him or his sport besides he only makes headlines for double dating with tom cruise and his wife and personally I DONT GIVE A FLYING YOU KNOW WHAT this is sports not goddam Hollywood
