I just got mlb the show and when i get attribute points and add them i dont notice it changing much?

is it better to play the whole baseball spring training part without using them.i noticed during the game if i get called up to the majors and alot of times i dont get to play there for i cant get points to train and then my skills go down.

Make your player 1st base
and put all his point on power and contact
Sim spring training
youll get picked up and put in the minors
then add all those like 700 attribute points to your guy.
only on power and contact.
Make sure you try out for an american league
team so you DH.
Then as you continue to get better and get called up.
Change your position.

start over and max out his fast ball

i did this and just keep using the fastball and making it better untill u have enough points to get a really good 2nd pitch

i did this and it worked really well. they would swing and miss at it a lot

i have the game too and i'm a bomb as a closer. Closer for the Yankees. around 5 million a year for 8 years. Anyway, you're probably simulating a couple of games, weeks, or maybe the entire season. Don't do that, becuase you need to keep training to get better and stay the way you are.
