I wouldn't be surprised to see offers from the Nationals or Tampa Bay. Both have extended non-roster invitations to a few players in the past few seasons (Nationals: Sosa) and Tampa Bay (Fred Mcgriff).

I don't forsee him playing again next year though, because no teams are really aching for a DH/part time 1B with a steriod cloud.

Don't know, but KC or Fla should pick him up just to generate some fan interest. What's up with the cheater remark in one of the answers to this question? Over half the league is cheating; they just haven't been caught yet. Everybody in the 70s was high on amphetamines, yet I don't hear you bashing them, Mr. Ketcham. Do you honestly think that players like Reggie Jackson weren't roiding, and that men like Babe Ruth didn't bet on baseball? Wake up. And it's Palmeiro, not Palmiero.
