we were discussing going to the MLB spring training in Arizona to take in some games.

Does anybody have any tips on deals, where to stay do's and dont's etc.

it might be too late to make arrangements now. All the hotels close to the stadium in Scottsdale sell out by November, and very pricey. So it will be best for you to stay farther away and rent a car. The games are sold out now also, but at 10am of game day they sell 500 tickets at the park. Or you can scalp tickets outside the stadium real easily. It would be best to go early in spring training or the last week. The weekend of March 17th is always the most popular. If you rent a car you can drive to all the different parks. The Cubs always sell out as well so going to HoHoCam park might not be worth it.. Enjoy

I have been to Cubs spring training and it was so much fun, not sure where your from, but if you go to the teams website they should have spring training deals including tickets, air and hotel as well as rental cars! I highly recommend going it is different than season play plus you get a great chance to preview the new players! you are also more likely to get autographs and pictures than you would during regular season after the games
