| Why are the Yankees trying to trade Randy Johnson? |
The New York Yankees are up to no good. They are trying to shop an over the hill pitcher for youth. Why don't they just buy him out they have the money. They make me sick. |
He wants out you dam Yankee hater. The Yanks are not up to anything. Johnson can still pitch. |

because he is washed up THE YANKEES WHO KNOWS WAT THERE DOING BUT THEY WANT TO GET YOUNGER PITVHERS FOR LATER ON I think that they want to save some money or something like that. And because they want younger pitchers. They can't possibly be the highest bankrolled baseball team forever. DOWN WITH THE YANKEES!! Randy didn't live up to his expectations when he came to New York. He just couldnt fit in. Remember when he shoved that Channel 2 newsreporter when he was going to take his physical. Randy barely throws 95-97mph. During this off-season, Cashman is trading the veterans to get more prospects and Randy is old instead of getting nothing in return. The Yanks could get propects from the Diamondbacks or Scott Linebrink for the Padres. Because buying him out would cost them money and they would get nothing in return, he's worthless in New York anyways. They are trying to trade him because he is useless to them and they want to get some young prospects in return. Can't blame them for trying but hopefully they will be stuck with him. Well the Yankees have to be getting upset since they haven't won a world series for a while and probably know Randy Johnson has been having some mechanical problems lately so they probably figure if they could get another decent hitter or a decent pitcher they would be in good shape. They want to get something out of this pitcher, even if it's not a lot. If the Diamondbacks want him then they'll take him. They know they're taking a risk with his health. They have enough starting pitchers for the coming year so he isnt needed. They want to stock for the future though i suspect if a trade does occur, they will pay off some of Johnson's remaining contract. Why??? Look at his stats Randy Johnson is no longer the pitcher he once was..... its about time them Yankees decided to trade....... Go Yankees.... Exactly. You answered your own question. "They are trying to shop an over the hill pitcher for youth". Two words..."HE"S OLD!" well, he's pretty much failed in NY, but they want to at least try to get *some* return on their investment... although they really arent likely to get much... maybe a mid-grade prospect or two, if they're willing to pay half RJ's salary Ya they suck........trying to dump an over the hill pitcher on some unsuspecting poor team. It would be a good move for the Yankees to trade Johnson for youth. Also... you get sick way too quickly, you should see a doctor. To get rid of the $$$$$$$ that they owe him. The Yankees are spoiled becasue they don't pay players the money that they sign them for and still suck. Because he has not performed for the Yankees and is probably all washed up. This is the first thing the Yankees have done that makes sense this year. Getting rid of Sheffield?? Big mistake. Johnson will be no loss, and they will also dump his huge salary!! |
