| Who agrees with me that Robinson Cano and Melky Cabrera are future Hall of Famers? |

These two Yankees have tremendous talent, youth, and tenacity. I am not saying that they deserve to be in the Hall of Fame today. I just feel that if they both get to play, the sky is the limit for those two. Cano is already amazing for his age, and Cabrera just needs experience. I think that both of them have the ability to destroy competition, IN THE FUTURE. |

Both players are young. At this point in time, I'd have to say that they are NOT Hall of Famers. They have to prove a lot in the future to acheive this status. |

your kidding right.....cano..if he can keep it up for 20 years ...MABY Don't get me wrong both of the afore mentioned are really good players, but so much can happen in a career. Take Mattingly, injury plagued his career and not enough years in the leagues to really warrent a place in the hall. Sad but true, post this in about 15 years to get into the HOF you have to play a lot, many many years and have many many many many great ones. I agree. Why don't we put them in right now? After all, not that many guys start out their careers with such strikingly adequate stats. What's the matter with you? No one would agree, not even the most biased of all front running Yankee fans. You don't get in the Hall for hitting .300, you need to be special. 3000 hits would do it, if they can do that then ok. Both are overrated for playing in NY. They are the product of media hype. Neither of them even belongs on the all-star team.... hey fro.. dont hate NY just because your from Minnesota or something.. Cano not belong on the all star team? he hit .342 last year with 80 RBIs out of the 9 spot I agree with you it's ashame Melky can' play full time. The Mets could use him in left field. Way way too early to tell. Neil M has it right. Cabrerra won't make it the Yankees will use him as trade bait soon. Cano is a different story he has a lot of ability. However he does not have a lot of power so he will have to play at this level for the next 15-20 years to make it into the hof. You are letting the GREATNESS of the NY Yankees cloud your judgement. Cano is a solid player and if he could continue to put up the numbers he has for another 15 years, HOF is a possibility. You are very wrong, Cabrera never will be a hall of famer, Cano maybe he is a second baseman and he is doin great things him maybe, but im not sure. Sorry, I cannot agree with that one. well Robinson Cano has a lot of potential and has proven that he can play in New York, so with Jeter and Bernie Williams as his guidance, he could become a HOFer. Cano just needs to stay healthy and he is in a good position. Now, for Mekly Cabrera it is too early to determine how great of a player he will become. His playing time in New York will decrease unless somebody gets injured, but he also has great potential and something that most people dont know is that the improved from 2005 to 2006 was him playing Winter Ball in the Dominican Republic because he improved as a player and got use to the pressure of playing in a big stage. In Dominican Republic, the pressure is equal to or more than the pressure in New York City because they are more emotionally into it than the people over here. So you might never know how good either of them might be but they both have huge potential Again with the Yankees? Come ON, all you can think about it YANKEES what i think is robinson cano is a good player and melky cabrera is to but its to early to tell anything lets just wait couple of years and then determine if there hall of famers or not i agree to that they both looks like he can have a great careers but its too early to tell Uh yeah, right. And let's not forget Fernando Arroyo. How can you even think about the Hall for these guys - they haven't even proven themselves yet. Shouldn't David Wells go into the Hall as well? The Hall of Fame is supposedly for players who have distinguished themselves with an outstanding career over a minimum of 10 years. You have got to be kidding anointing these player Hall of Famers before they have even done much in the league or been around for long. Get a grip. They will be very good players, but the Hall of Fame may be a bit of a stretch. Cano is impressive, but he's too slow of a runner to be a defensive standout or a great offensive player. Also, sometimes, he seems to try to hit homers when he should try for singles. Melky Cabrera has a great arm, but I'm not sure that his hitting ability is Hall of Fame-worthy. Also, he may have just had one good year. With some players, you never know how they'll be next season. They've got a Looooong way to go to be Hall of Fame Material. WAY too early to make that assessment. But love the thought. I love them both Cano is awesome,But you can count on Melky being traded by the end of this winter, maybe sooner,I hear the Marlins might wanna trade Willis for him!!!! There's no way you're serious. of course they are i mean look at cano who almost got the batting title this year and cabrera replacing matsui, which is a great player, and doing it well proves what great players they both are Are you out of your mind it is way to early to say that they are future hall of famers. Cano might be, Cabrera no who gives a **** about the yankees |
