The diamondbacks will win the west ! who beleives different and why ?

Arizona has the youth , who can match , what they have ?

Yes Arizona has the youth but the Padres and Dodgers have the experience. I think the D-Backs will be in the race until the end but they will slip. The Padres will take the division. However I believe the Diamondbacks will dominate the division for years to come.

I believe differently; The San Diego Padres is why.

At the current rate that each team is going the standings at the end of the year will look like this:

National League West

Team W/L/GB
San Diego 93/69/0.0
Arizona 90/72/3.0
Colorado 88/74/5.0
Los Angeles 85/77/8.0
San Francisco 75/87/18.0

So yes I do believe different. Arizona has the youth, but not the experience. San Diego is mixed veterans and youth, players who have experience down the wire and players who are new. I'm not saying Arizona is bad, and they do have good potential, but you can't match youth up with experience because youth makes people naive and they use up all their energy to stay up in the MLB that they will probably falter in the later months like September because their team is tired.

No.

The Dodgers simply have the better line up and starting rotation.

Now that Randy Johnson is gone you're team is going to struggle.

no, sd is pretty good and added good talent

The Padres have the best pitching in the N.L. West and pitching is what wins games late in the season. Chase field may be a hitters park but if you can keep the the the on the ground, you won't hit it far. The Dodgers are in trouble because of pitching issues ever since Jason Schmidt went down. The Padres found a way to win last night after allowing Barry to tie the record which means good teams find ways to win whether it is in extra innings or not. When Chris Young comes back from his injury, that will be a nice boost in their rotation to compliment Maddux, Wells and Peavy. The other factor is that San Diego has been their before and knows how to handle the pressures of a pennant race
